How come there were empty seats everywhere today when it was supposedly a sell out?

Yes, I thought that too. Even a few in the Cowshed, where I had been hoping to get into.
Just over 28,000...so 2,500 spare.

Yes, what I meant was, if you take the segregated seats into account, there still seemed to be quite a few empty seats in both home and away sections.
Makes you wonder if attendance numbers are actual people present, or simply tickets sold ?

It's tickets sold. The empty seats were bought by AFC fans to stop our fans getting them.
