Where was it ever said we offered him an 'improved contract', all I've seen is that he was offered what the Club thought to be 'a very good contract'.

He was actually on the bench today for Charlton, a completely unfit with no pre season Reeves, is not somebody you would want to bring on....

Funny thing is, I think he would have fitted well with this new squad.
Might have stopped trying to do it all by himself, meaning teams wouldn't have time to bully him.
