This.

Dons is the word you're looking for.

Don't be so sensitive. They call Swansea City, Swansea and Newcastle United, Newcastle so what's so wrong with abbreviating the Dons?

It's just wrong I tell you! Won't somebody think of the children?

You are right people do call Swansea City Swansea and Newcastle United Newcastle, but when they shorten our name it is MK Dons.

I like the way they refer to us as Milton Keynes in the first two paragraphs, go for the shorter MK Dons in the third, but from the fourth paragraph onwards it's back to Milton Keynes. I take it the WSC proof-reading brigade aren't what they used to be?

Oi doogle lovers you forgot the record equalling bit. 18 away wins. If it wasn't for late goals at Rochdale & Shrewsbury it could've been 20 wins out of 23. Only Doncaster have achieved the same many moons ago. Now that's history.

Late goals at Shrewsbury? Well reminded ! We were 3-0 up away at half time and drew 3-3
