Listening to Drivetime on Talksport on way home from work this evening there was the 30 sec slot where the presenters give their view on a current topic. Tonight there was one called "Are MK Dons dying". Adrian Durham had the slot and said several things including that MK Dons had a unsustainable business model where youngsters paid so little for their season tickets and are a poor League 1 team that should they get relegated then could be on a downward spiral towards the Conference and then how could they sustain things with the large stadium. Adrian is a Posh supporter but for the Dons to have a slot on Talksport is another sign that things aren't quite right with us.

If listen to show then comments are around 1755. The next topic was about Chris Wilder and his continued success after Northampton with Sheff Utd. Feels like we missed an opportunity not getting him as manager.

It's Adrian Durham FFS.

We all know MK Dons football doesn't sustain the stadium now, so I'm not sure a couple of drops would do much. See Queens Park.

Adrian Durham is a known anti-Franchisor and bashes us at any opportunity he can get (including a short lived attempt at refusing to mention the 'Dons' part of our name which lasted about a week).

Cheap attempts to pander to an audience by taking a cheap shot at us. It's a bit sad really, it's like bullying a child to stand out to the other bullies and look cool.

Part of the reason I love our club is how we are always up against it and always have to try ten times as hard to win people over. I also love how the club act with dignity at every opportunity. We never make snidy comments or take cheap shots at AFC like they do. We just act with dignity and get on with it without the pettyness.

Also - I don't know where Adrian Durham is getting his ideas from. We have (relatively) little debt compared to the average football league club, and he is also forgetting the fact we will get a sizeable sell on fee for Alli in the next couple of seasons. The larger capacity also works to our advantage in that when we do get a decent cup draw, we have more seats to sell, compared to say Northampton who would beg for a stadium like ours on such occasions.

Compared to most clubs, we are healthy.

Guy is a clown and I can't stop listening to him. He knows exactly what he's doing. Despite the fact he doesn't know what he's talking about.

He's been having a pop for years. Wishful thinking.

Every offence to the OP, but Talk Sport? Where presenters have opinions to order for money. How long did his campaign to refuse to call you Dons last? How's his ongoing love of Arsenal going? When the cricket bloke says one thing does he still say the exact opposite? The only surprising thing about him is that he doesn't write an opinion piece for the Mail alongside Hopkins.
He's paid to be controversial, and I was always of the opinion that they aren't listening to the irate callers, but rather just chat among themselves.
The time to get concerned about him is when he starts backing you.

When I used to listen, he always made a virtue of his fight for the survivors of Hillsborough. Colin Murray resigned when the Murdoch empire took over. Says a lot about Durham that he's still there.
